The comments made from the official FC Barcelona accounts - twitter.com/fcbarcelona_cat, twitter.com/fcbarcelona_es and twitter.com/fcbarcelona-, just after Josep Guardiola and his players clinched the Liga title led to this hashtag becoming a World Trending Topic throughout the night both in Spain and Catalonia. Moreover , #campionsfcb generated 0.16% of all comments around the world between 23.00 and 1.00 am.

Top tweets
Of all Tweets, some even became TOP Tweets, which are those that received more than 200 Retweets each. Such was the case, for instance, with “Barça now have 21 league titles” and another that said “the team has just arrived at Camp Nou.”

Success of our own social networks
Apart from Twitter, the Club’s other social networks also achieved considerable interest on occasion of Barça’s third league in a row with Guardiola on the bench, and the 21st in club history. Barça’s joy was evident on all of the club’s social networks, and the excitement grew as the night drew on.

All of the multimedia material in the form of photos and videos that appeared on different social networks also attracted plenty of interest. On Facebook, for example, almost 100,000 people made comments over the night. Here, for example, nearly 80,000 clicked that they ‘like’ the post that included the “League champions” video. On Youtube, this video had been watched by almost 60,000 people between being posted at 22.00 and Wednesday night and Thursday at 14.00.
